The Year of the Rabbit beckons a prosperous new beginning at the Michelin-starred Shang Palace, with a fine repertoire of Cantonese culinary treasures befitting a new year’s feast from 9 January to 5 February 2023. Specially curated by Executive Chinese Chef Daniel Cheung, guests can choose to indulge in the eight-course menus or select from the quintessential à la carte new year dishes that will delight your palate and satisfy your senses.
The four elegant, eight-course set menus — Happiness, Prosperity, Harmonious and Opulence - ranging in price from SGD188++ to SGD338++, with culinary highlights featuring the Fortune Yu Sheng with Norwegian Smoked Salmon and Poached Lobster, Braised African Candy Heart Dried Abalone, Pan-fried Foie Gras and Roasted Suckling Pig, Sautéed Boston Lobster with Superior Stock, Sautéed Scallops and Pacific Clams, Braised Bird’s Nest Soup and Steamed Star Garoupa.
For those who prefer sophisticated vegetarian options, the seven-course Joyous set menu is available for SGD118++ per person. Dishes featured include Braised Bird’s Nest Soup, Deep-fried Bean Curd Puff, Braised Morel Mushroom with Asparagus and Five Grain Fried Rice.
Beginning on 9 January and running through to 5 February 2023, Shang Palace is also offering a festive à la carte menu of thoughtfully crafted signature recommendations including Fortune Yu Sheng, Roasted Peking Duck, Sautéed Lobster, Braised Abalone, Braised Pork Knuckle and more.
For lunch, a Dim Sum Delights menu is available from 22 January to 5 February 2023 and features Rabbit-shaped Custard Bun, Steamed Clam and Shrimp Dumpling with Caviar, Steamed Jade Scallop Siew Mai with Crab Roe, Deep-fried Prawn, Cuttlefish and Dace Paste in Lychee Shape, Steamed Diced Cod and Shrimp Dumpling, Baked Abalone Pie and more.
A showstopper limited-edition Auspicious Rabbit Yu Sheng is set to impress, arranged into an endearing image of a cute rabbit and is available for dine-in orders from 9 January to 5 February 2023. The Auspicious Rabbit Yu Sheng is served with South African Abalone, Hokkaido Scallop, Local Lobster and Scottish Smoked Salmon, and is priced at SGD388++ for 6 persons, with a minimum of 2 days’ advance order.
From 21 to 24 January 2023, welcome the Chinese New Year with sumptuous lunch and dinner buffets with festive highlights created for the new year at The Line. For a dainty albeit indulgent fix, savour our Chinese New Year afternoon tea that comes with the rich trimmings of the season. The three-course afternoon tea menu impresses with savoury sandwiches, main dishes and three-tiered desserts, available from 5 January to 5 February 2023.
A delightful selection of sandwiches such as Bourbon Smoked Chicken Sandwich, Poached Prawn with Tobiko and Beetroot Salad on Savoury Tart and more, are served first to the table. A choice of main course including Honey Glazed Balsamic Beef Rib, Baked Miso Cod Fish, Chives Crusted Lamb Loin, or Soy Marinated Duck Leg follows.
