It’s all in the name, this place is truly a mansion and you can experience a free flow of house wines and beer every evening with the exceptions of Wednesdays, Fridays and eve of public holidays. The vibe is chilled, happening and youthful, and they serve lip smacking western fusion food to go with the wine. Tuck in their delicious Crab Cakes, Truffle Fries or go directly for their Cheese Platter followed by a delicious plate of Truffle Mushroom Risotto, Pulled Pork Cheese Melts Quesadilla Burger or Breakfast Pizza.

This places is tucked a way and worth a weight in gold when found. So many great deals and reasonably priced with a huge variety of wine, sparkling wine and beer.

So out and about in Chinatown today - the expensive end not the cheap end!  What to do about lunch .. mmmm... luckily I remembered Wine Mansion in Keong Saik Road.   Have you been?  The decor is a little tired and old but the service is good and wait for it ... the value is awesome.  My bloke and I lunched on chicken kebab with olive rice and salad, beef kebab with fries and tabbouleh, hommus and bread to share .. and maybe a glass of wine or 6 (yikes .. calling this a business development not work day!).  Kebabs were succulent, tasty and BIG!  The house wine was absolutely drinkable at the wow price of $5++ per glass.  Total cost for lunch including wine was $60.  Not been after dark but did check out their specials on a trip to the loo - $2 oysters on Tuesday night and $25 free flow for ladies from 7.30pm to 10.30pm on a Wednesday.  At those prices it is worth a try.  Do yourself a favour :)
