Yue Bai

Introducing Yue Bai, a gorgeous Chinese restaurant whose name refers to the hue of the moon. Soft, lustrous colours are used to decorate the walls, and they are complemented by delicate wood finishes, elaborate latticework, and magnificent ceramics. Meet co-owner and culinary mastermind Chef Lee Hong Wei. He expertly creates foods with Chinese history while adhering to the beneficial tenets of traditional Chinese dietary therapy (shi liao). The menu, which drew influence from diverse parts of China, sparkles with the tastes of coastal South China, particularly Fujian and Guangdong.

Start your meal with mouthwatering starters like the tangy burst of winter melon infused with roselle, enjoy the delicate organic purple rice cake with XO sauce, and sample a contemporary take on Teochew cuisine's traditional braised lamb entrée. Yue Bai offers a genuinely ethereal dining experience. You are transported away from the bustle of the city by the peaceful ambiance, which offers a much-needed respite from the stress. There are times when you may have the impression that you are eating in a teahouse that is tucked away in a stunning Chinese garden. The best thing, though? The cuisine is not only delicious but is also nourishing for your body. Image Credit: Yue Bai Facebook Page 2nd Image Credit
