KUN, derived from the word "坤" meaning earth in the I Ching or The Book of Changes, embodies the nurturing and creative potential of life. Inspired by Sichuan's culinary heritage, KUN aims to revive and preserve the rich history, culture, and cooking traditions of the region via an omakase-style dining experience. Founded by Peng Kunlin, KUN seeks to convey the profound beauty of Sichuan through its cuisine. With an exquisite menu and an Omakase Bar showcasing authentic Sichuan classics, KUN combines contemporary flair with traditional techniques. The space itself draws inspiration from the Chinese custom of a winding stream party, evoking the joy of social exchanges and indulging in the pleasures of drinking.
