The PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay's Peppermint Restaurant welcomes you to a festive culinary extravaganza, the Peppermint Yuletide Festive Feast. As you step into the green oasis atrium, the stage for your dining experience. Forget reindeer and snow globes; the magic of Christmas is happening right here. I recently embarked on a media tasting of their Yuletide Festive Feast, and it was a worthy festive culinary odyssey. As Christmas tunes played softly in the background, I settled into my table, eager to experience Peppermint's Christmas menu.

As a nod to Peppermint's usual daily buffet, an ice bar showcased fresh seafood, including Boston lobster, glistening oysters, plump prawns and a huge basket of crab legs. There was a Japanese station with sashimi sliced fresh to order and a fine selection of sushi. Indian flavours are found at the station, serving the famous dal and crispy roti, while the expansive salad bar features a wheel of Parmesan for all your cheesy desires.

Adding to the festive spread is a special BBQ, helmed by Chef Xuan Wei, featuring an impressive array of grilled favourites. The Balsamic Glazed Black Angus Beef Prime Rib, available during weekend dinners, is a carnivore's dream – tender, juicy, and rich in flavour. The Lamb Loin Chops are a must, with a bit of char adding to the BBQ experience. There's also freshly Grilled Seabass for the fish lovers.

As I dove into other dishes across the sumptuous buffet, flavours exploded across my palate. The Coffee Chicken dazzled with its complex yet perfectly balanced savoury, sweet and spiced blend. Smoked Duck with Juniper Berries brought woodsy juniper notes that paired beautifully with the tender meat. Peppermint includes Halal-certified Honey-baked Chicken Ham, a scrumptious alternative to traditional pork ham to honour diverse palates. The chicken ham impressed with its moist texture and candied pineapple notes. Served with bread rolls, the creamy Pumpkin Cheese Fondue made for perfect dipping, a simple yet genius addition.

Grilled Chicken thigh delivered a one-two punch of smokiness and peppery spice. A must-try is the absolutely juicy, moist Turkey Breast soaked up in the buttery sauce it was nestled in. Seconds, for me, was the order of the day.

No festive feast is complete without desserts, and Peppermint doesn't disappoint. The Yuzu Strawberry Chocolate Yule Log and Passionfruit Sesame Praline Yule Log are just the beginning of a dessert wonderland. Of course, at least for me, the traditional sweet ending of a Christmas meal is a plump Christmas Pudding with lashings of vanilla sauce. Christmas in my mouth!

Peppermint isn't just about the food; it's about the experience. The attentive service, especially from our server Suren, adds a personal touch to the meal. He deserves a special shoutout for his focused and friendly approach. By the night's end, I was a contented lump of Christmas cheer, my stomach filled with culinary memories.

The festive decorations, the joyous atmosphere, and several birthday celebrations that evening make you feel right at home. The Peppermint's Yuletide Festive Feast is a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the festive spirit without the hassle of cooking. So, here's my take: if you want to dive into the Christmas spirit without slaving away in the kitchen, book a table at Peppermint's Yuletide Festive Feast.

Bonus Tips for a Merry Feast:

Reserve early: This magical experience is popular, so book your table before it melts away like a snowflake.

Come hungry: This feast is a marathon, not a sprint. Prepare your stomach for an epic culinary adventure.

Pace yourself: Don't try to conquer the entire buffet at once. Savour each bite, let the flavours sing, and leave room for that Christmas pudding (you won't regret it!).

Bring your loved ones: This feast is meant to be shared, so gather your favourite elves and make it a new Christmas tradition.
