Established in 2011 by Mr. Emmanuel Dron, The Auld Alliance is named after a period of truce between Scotland and France, and is widely considered to be Singapore's finest whisky bar.
Ambience at The Auld Alliance retains its classical library style, with huge plush leather couches, dim lighting, and rows upon rows of bookshelves, lined with The Auld Alliance extensive range of over 1,400 labels of whisky.

One of Singapore’s finest whisky bars, at The Auld Alliance the whisky menu is, literally, an entire book! From a pre-war single malt scotch, to a Japanese master creation, you can find it all here! The staff is extremely helpful, if you’re a bit of newbie and won’t try to upsell you. They also have a few tasting menus that act as a great starting point. If you’ve got deep pockets, and friends who are whisky lovers, shelling out $1,200 will get you a private room, not to mention, some great whiskies.
What a classy experience this was. going a again in a few weeks. Great way to learn about different Whiskeys.
Finally went here a few days ago, and I'm so happy I did! This place is fabulous. If you love whiskey, you'll be in heaven here. Their collection is astounding!!! Our group ordered flights. Good way to try different kinds. The atmosphere and music is also spot on. So classy.
It definitely is pricey, but worth it if you want to learn about whisky, or if you're a die hard fan.
