Spotted something fresh in Little India? Chimichanga, the well-loved Mexican restaurant in Little India has recently undergone renovations to further enhance the dining experience for their customers. The renovation comes more than 6 years after its launch in 2016.

The 43-seater restaurant now features a myriad of dining spaces for various occasions. Expect dining space for solo diners, dates and even larger gatherings.

The highlight of their new look is their dining bar, which features a 7-seater counter seating that offers a more immersive experience for guests. Guests can enjoy their drinks and meal in a cosy and lively environment while being able to interact with the bartender. Chimichanga's drink menu has been given new life as well — it now offers a wider variety of its very own Neon Donkey Craft beers, specialty cocktails and an ever-changing menu of Tequilas and Mezcals.

Diners will definitely be in awe of the newest additions to their ever-changing curated selection of artisanal Mezcals and Tequilas. Selecting only the finest brands, the team has dialled it down to 40 brands. With this, diners are able to explore rare and sought-after Mezcals and Tequilas that are usually not found in bars in Singapore.

Tequila Y Mezcal Flight Junior

The collection features rare and premium brands that offer customers the taste of Mexico, right here in Singapore. Through this, Chimichanga aims to bring new light to these brands, showcasing that there is one for every palate.

Not sure where to start? Chimichanga's Tequila and Mezcal Tasting Flight ($54) is a great choice for first-timers. Get four 30ml samplings of different Tequila and Mezcals for a tasting flight. Guests can either go with the recommended tasting flight or choose from the selection of Mezcals and Tequilas.

Savour it neat or Banderita style, a classic way of serving mezcal originating from Mexico (named for its green, white and red replication of the Mexican flag). This traditional style consists of serving lime juice and sangrita as palate cleansers.

On top of their new additions, there are many more treats for diners to look out for. Centring around new cocktails and mains alike, everyone can expect a string of grubs that feature Mexican and local influences.

For those who love a classic Bloody Mary, the Bloody Maria ($18) takes on a Mexican spin with the inclusion of Cucumber and Coriander Tequila & Tajin in the mix.

Alternatively, diners can go for the Flavours of India section. Drawing inspiration from Little India neighbourhood, this new section boasts Indian influences making it a treat for those who enjoy spiced accents. The newest signature drink; the Boozy Mango Lassi ($18) is spiked with two kinds of rum: Plantation 3 Star Rum and Goslings Black Seal Rum, allowing for a splendid blend of a local classic.
