We’re delving into the creamiest of log cakes this season by ordering the lot from The Pine Garden. Do not miss out on their special Yakult Soju Log Cake made with sweet Korean liqueur and probiotic drinks and their pretty pink Beetroot Ruby Chocolate Ripple Log Cake giving you an ultimate combo of moist chocolate sponge cake with a slightly berry-like tartness of the ruby chocolate ganache. We also have our eyes on their Lychee Martini Log Cake, Sweet Peach Earl Grey Log Cake and Brown Sugar Milk Tea (Bubble Tea) Log Cake.
Our flagship outlet was founded in 1984 and found favour with the local community ever since then. However, this was not without putting up a fight with the changing economic environment, especially with the wave of new-school bakery chains in precinct shopping malls. In our twentieth year of business, our founders reached the verge of shutting the business, which led to the takeover by Mr Wei Chan, who could not bear to see the end of his family business. The former Regional Marketing Manager of a US based MNC has since made waves by reinventing the business into a boutique heartland-bakery.
Today, our customer base has expanded beyond just the community of Ang Mo Kio. Apart from closing for nine days during the Lunar Chinese New Year period, we are opened everyday (even through public holidays) from 8.30am to 9.30pm, so that we meet the needs of our customers.
At The Pine Garden, fostering merriment is our business, and we revel in the culture of celebrations. Best of all, we keep our prices affordable, so there is always something for everyone.
