Among baking concepts practiced include traditional European baking concept, wooden worktop, wooden proofing cabinet, German proofing basket, dough cloth linen and stone/steam oven. These concepts and methods are meticulously executed to produce bread and pastries that are simply decadent, yet authentic and classic in taste. Named after Baker Nick Chua, this bakery is located at Icon Village in Gopeng Street, Singapore. After his training in Hanover, Chef Chua didn’t hesitate to take matters in his own hands, and went on to open Nick Vina, a bakery serving artisanal breads with natural baking techniques and selected wheat flour like non-GMO German wheat flour, German Rye Flour and German Spelt Flour. You can look for beautifully baked breads like the Volkorn Whole Grain Bread, the Sesame Loaf, the Classic Sourdough, and the German Rye Bread. Apart from these beauties, they also have exhaustive options for sandwiches like zucchini cheese, bacon and egg, mushroom, roasted beef, pork salami and many others.
