Founded in 2000 by Ivan Heng, an internationally acclaimed theatre practitioner, WILD RICE is recognised today as one of Singapore’s leading professional theatre companies.
Their mission is to provide a forum for the shared experience that theatre can engender – to celebrate our diversity, to reflect on our times, to present productions that inspire, challenge and entertain.
Pivotal to this mission is their new home WILD RICE @ Funan, with its 358-seat main performance space and a studio theatre that accommodates 50.
