Hero Image: The Founders of Wag The Dog Theatre
Wag The Dog Theatre is an ensemble of professional actors, directors and producers who are coming together to establish Singapore’s first official English-speaking cooperative theatre company.
Our mission is to challenge ourselves as practitioners as well as our audiences with our selection of theatre productions.
These theatre productions are selected, performed, directed and funded by the 8 company members - us.
Our goal is to highlight the richness of storytelling by producing on the leanest of budgets.
We also hope to inspire and encourage young artists to be dauntless in staging their stories.

What an enjoyable evening!! The production, direction, technical & dramatic aspects all came together to give a wonderfully balanced insight into this North England family dynamics.
Those onstage delivered on point performances - believable, realistic & moving us through the gamut of emotional scale from laughter to tears, arriving at the destination of uncomfortable acceptance of both siblings & death.
The attention to detail transported me back to a bygone era - the glory box, the eiderdown, keeping precious correspondence in cake tins......the nostalgia effect.
Congratulations on an impressive, solid & authentic delivery to market. Well done to all involved both front & back of house!!

Huge fan of Wag The Dog. Went with my wife and two male friends on Sat and everyone enjoyed it. It's more of a family dramedy than a light hearted comedy. But it nails the funny when it goes for it. Krissy Jesudason's and Sean Worrall's characters got the most opportunities for humour and the actors fully delivered.
I'm only giving four stars to try and give further credibility to my and others' favourable assessments. If you are up for (1) some theatre which offers a mix of comedy and drama, (2) watching great actors perform their craft, (3) supporting a performance with strong female characters, or (4) supporting nice people or local theatre, I recommend that you get yourself over there immediately.
