What a great night. The cast were thoroughly engaging, the sound mix got sorted with a song and a half and there was only one obvious technical hitch (strobe light got a life of its own for about 30 secs) that was dealt with quickly.
All the leads gave solid performances and the support cast were excellent too. The kids were adorable.
I'm not a massive musical fan but this show was well paced and the narration of Che Gevara kept everything ticking along. Even if you don't think you know the songs, you will.
When I got home I even did google on the real history and improved my world history knowledge a bit.
If you get the chance, go see it.

In the words of Eva Perón: I want to tell the people of Argentina - I've decided I should decline all the honors and titles you've pressed me to take. For I'm contented - let me simply go on as the woman who brings her people to the heart of Perón. Don't cry for me, Argentina. The truth is I shall not leave you. Though it may get harder for you to see me, I'm Argentina, and always will be.
