Jointly presented by Voices of Singapore (VOS) and Capitol Singapore with the support of corporate patron Perennial Holdings, SingNation! 2023 is set to make its highly anticipated return this year as Singapore's grandest outdoor choir for National Day. Taking place on 5th August 2023 at Capitol Singapore, SingNation! aims to celebrate Singaporean music and foster unity through the joy of singing.
Following the success of the first physical SingNation! in the previous year, this year's event promises to bring together communities and people from all walks of life to celebrate Singapore’s 58th birthday. SingNation! 2023 will run alongside other National Day festivities at Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES from 1st to 13th August 2023.
This year's SingNation! will provide an unforgettable experience, capturing the spirit of community singing and aligning with Voices of Singapore's vision to Inspire a Singing Singapore. The event will feature a range of engaging elements designed to entertain and engage participants:
SingNation! Sing-along Session

Hosted by VOS Artistic Director Darius Lim, music educator Joyce Ang, and local band The Passerby, the sing-along session will showcase a list of familiar tunes and beloved Singaporean songs, including past and present National Day Parade (NDP) theme songs and local folk songs. Participants will have the opportunity to sing unique parts to these songs, creating a harmony of voices that represent the vibrant tapestry of Singapore. Lyrics and limited complimentary mini flags will be provided on-site.
On top of performing for SingNation!, local band The Passerby will also showcase crowd favourites and popular tunes on that same afternoon, 5 August, 2.30pm - 4.30pm, at the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski.
The National Day Parade will also be live-streamed on 9 August at the Outdoor Plaza at Capitol Singapore, Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski as well as B1 of CHIJMES.
Throughout the National Day festivities, participating F&B outlets in Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES will be offering exclusive specialties and deals.
