Ten years ago on Waterloo Street, the New2U thrift shop opened its welcoming doors to consumers! Managed entirely by volunteers from the Singapore Council for Women’s Organisations, some of whom have been lending theirs services for years — this is the perfect place for ladies to pick up a new outfit! The shop sells pre-loved clothing, accessories, household items, ornaments, books and much more! All goods are donated, and prices start from as low as $1.00!

Drop by on weekday mornings and afternoons, or venture on a Sunday shopping spree for their monthly weekend half-price sale! Note, all proceeds go to the non-profit’s Star Shelter, supporting victims of domestic violence, and various SCWO initiatives.

Managed entirely by volunteers, all the proceeds from New2U go to Star Shelter and various SCWO (Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations) Initiatives. You can find pre-loved tops to shoes, and everything in between here, with prices starting as low as $1. Everything is donated here, so you may be able to find some goodies, from Marc Jacobs, and Coach, if you’re lucky.

What a fantastic idea. I never throw my clothes or things away. More then happy to bring it to this place!

I've always been a fan of thrift shops. It's cheap, and it's good to reuse perfectly good items! This place is even better because the proceeds go to a good cause. There are more clothes for women than for men, though. Also, note: A few times a month, they have half price days! That's right - suddenly, a 6$ dress is 3$. :)
