Beach and Butter Phuket

Published - 24 June 2022, Friday

The name Beach & Butter is a play on words - from the very English term 'Bread & Butter' which refers to income or livelihood. What better term to use trying to help to support the local economy? Plus anyone who knows me will recognise my strong Surrey accent from boarding school in the UK, so again an English play on words it was!  Joanna is a Blogger, Foodie, Bargain Hunter and Luxury Lover.

108 Vegetarian Cuisine recently (July 2020) moved from it's previous location on Bandon Cherngtalay Road to a small side street which you might never drive past (or notice if you did). Lucky for The Writer, Joanna, she literally live 2 minutes away and this was the saving grace in finding their new location. Clean, good quality vegetarian food at super low prices. It's not easy running a restaurant in the current climate, let alone moving from your locally known location to a new, non main road placement. So, if you are in the area please show your support and get treated to some fantastic, tasty food for around 50 bht per dish. The menu is varied, as you can see below, but if you need any recommendations then Joanna's top 5 would have to be:

1. Pomelo Salad
2. Spicy Mushroom Salad
3. Fried Rice With Green Curry
4. Stir Fried Spicy Eggplant
5. Stir Fried Tofu Bubble with Cashew Nuts
