In the mood for something spicy and peppery, perhaps with a garlicky-sweet aftertaste? Then Old Tiong Bahru Bak Kut Teh has you covered! The treasure of a restaurant is hidden away in a discreet corner of the estate.

The establishment is also known for their mee sua (wheat noodles) as well as their home-made dough fritters on the side for you to dip into the delectable broth.

One of Singapore’s favourite places for a Bak Kut Teh fix is Old Tiong Bahru. The nourishing broth itself warms your senses and the tender pork ribs simply fall off the bone as you attempt to eat them, so delicious.

For spice lovers, Sambal Kang Kong would be a good choice.
