Back in the early days of the late 1970s, it was uncommon for hawker stalls to sell fresh seafood and much less, crab dishes.

However, the founder, Mdm Ong Kim Hoi had the penchant for cooking.

She specially created the now popular abd acclaimed White Pepper Crab dish to differentiate her hawker stall from the competition.
