Alaturka, located in the historical Kampong Glam neighbourhood, serves delicious Turkish food made by a group of highly skilled Turkish cooks. Alaturka has been a culinary treasure for 15 years since originally setting up shop in May 2005 on the famous Arab Street.
They take great delight in offering mouthwatering, freshly prepared renditions of well-known meals as well as, novel Turkish culinary experiences.
Enjoy dishes like the Meze Tabagi, a sharing platter with specialties from Alaturka like hummus, babaganoush, saksuka (eggplant ragout), yumurta salata (egg salad), ezme (mashed tomato salad), and havoc salata (grated carrots in garlic yoghurt), to immerse yourself in Turkish heritage and culture.
Yaprak sarmasi (rolls of pickled vine leaf packed with rice), feta, olives, and lavas are all worth trying. Alaturka received the esteemed Michelin Guide Singapore Bib Gourmand award in 2016, which was recognition for their commitment to providing a genuine taste of Turkey to Singapore.
