WAKUDA Singapore is the creation of celebrity chef Tetsuya Wakuda and innovative restaurateur John Kunkel of 50 Eggs Hospitality Group. Launched in 2022, WAKUDA redefines Japanese dining by fusing art, cuisine, and culture in a colourful atmosphere that captivates the senses.

The dining experience at WAKUDA is a study of Chef Tetsuya's culinary talent, informed by the seasons and presented in a contemporary yet approachable manner. The menu includes everything from à la carte eating to unique Japanese mixology at the bar.

Appetisers, sashimi, sushi, tempura, grilled dishes, rice bowls, sobas, and beautiful desserts are all made with the finest ingredients, including Tasmanian ocean trout, ora king salmon, umibudo, and mozuku, which are only available at WAKUDA Singapore.

WAKUDA's extraordinary collection of approximately 100 different sake labels, including the particularly crafted Isojiman and Junmai Ginjo W for Wakuda from Shizuoka, Japan, adds to the attraction. Cocktail enthusiasts can savour Japanese-style handcrafted cocktails meticulously crafted by 50 Eggs Hospitality Group’s beverage team.

The restaurant's excellent design, which drew inspiration from traditional Japanese architecture, highlights Chef Tetsuya's culinary philosophy and craftsmanship. The restaurant is adorned with Kumiki, a traditional Japanese wood joinery technique, creating a harmonic blend of heritage and modernity. The Main Dining Room features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a picturesque Japanese maple tree, symbolising abundance.

Adding to the visual feast are two original ceiling artworks by Japanese artist Jun Inoue, namely "The Ingredients That Arrived" and "In His Hands." These artworks, with their immersive designs, further elevate the dining ambience.
