Ristorante Pietrasanta, everyone’s favourite Italian restaurant, now goes private with Casa Pietrasanta, its new private dining concept opening its doors at One North. Expect the same refined flavours made famous by Chef-Owner Loris Massimini, now curated for smaller, more intimate celebrations.
Birthed from Chef Loris’s passion for cooking and hosting friends, Casa Pietrasanta (which translates to mean home) brings the culinary prowess of chefs cooking up authentic Italian cuisine with Mediterranean touches. The dishes are all odes to the different generations of Italian men and women who enjoy cooking together as a way to bring family and loved ones around the table at the end of a long day.
In an intimate 20-seater restaurant fed with unobstructed views of an open kitchen, dig in an exquisite 3- or 4-course degustation menu alongside a range of historic wines from Italy.
Get enticed by house signatures like the Carpaccio di Branzino seabass carpaccio brightened with lemon zest and fragranced with pink peppercorn and horseradish as well as Stracciatella di Burrata, accompanied by parma ham and semi-dry tomatoes, Tagliatelle Portobello of fresh handmade tagliatelle doused in an earthy portobello sauce and laced with pesto and truffle, and Pesce di Neve Scottato, a tender seared snow fish served with green pea puree and lump fish roe.
Miss not Casa’s famed Gelatina di Prosecco e Granita where the prosecco jelly granita cools the heat off you and preps you for the sweet finish of Sbriciolata di Mele, a melt-in-your-mouth apple crumble tart with a scoop of homemade vanilla crema.
Founders Giuseppe and Loris Massimini and Niccolò Bertolini found themselves deeply enthralled by art loving Pietrasanta, the historic capital of Versilia snuggled between the Tirreno Sea and the breathtaking Apuan Alps.
Enchanted, the trio brought along the charms of this medieval city on the coast of northern Tuscany to Singapore, finding Ristorante Pietrasanta in a black and white house along Portsdown Road in 2008.
A decade later after amassing a fan base of loyal diners with its repertoire of winning favourites, Ristorante Pietrasanta continues a new chapter at One North.
