If you haven’t yet spotted a Cocoa Colony mushrooming up in little nooks around Singapore, keep your eyes peeled, because they plan on opening 12 outlets this year alone.
But can they really do for hot cocoa what Starbucks did for coffee? - hot cocoa comes in different strengths from mild Cocoa 38 to richer Cocoa 100 – the numbers just mean 38 and 100 per cent of the full recipe, respectively.
Their locations offer only a smattering of seats, so grab your hot chocolate to go!

Like the idea of the different strengths of cocoa in your coffee. Friendly and happy staff.
"I visit this place daily as I work in the same building. Not only is the coffee a delicious essential for kick starting my day, the staff are so friendly and helpful they always leave me smiling. I've only had the cocoa once but feel that I have to comment after reading previous comments - I found it to be thick and flavoursome but not clawingly sweet like so many of the hot chocolates out there. I really enjoyed it but I guess everyone is different."
