Come in a group of 4 and spend above $30 in a single receipt to receive a bowl of free fries. A place to make new friends over drinks and yakitori. Open on Sundays and perfect to catch up in a vibe atmosphere along Joo Chiat. This is certainly the hip end of the street. Worth the visit, over and over and while you are thyere, do some shopping. Lots a great finds within an arms length.

I stumbled across this little neighbourhood bar and grill after doing some errands on Joo Chiat. I was surprised to find a perfect short and to the point menu of Bar Bites with a focus on Dons, Finder Food and the all important Yakitori. Chicken Thigh wass just delicious at two piebces for $4. Pork Balls seemed to be very popular as did the Leek & Bacon. TYhere is something here for everyone. Try the Chicken Karaage Bun at $4 it is a steal. Look out for some images to be posted soon. This place has only been open a week so it is still finding its feet, although this reporter was pleased to see the joint packed with table booking 4-6 a table. Social Distancing was also in place and hand sanatiser at the ready. So, support local and get your entertainment fix in the East.
