One&Only Desaru Coast's Ember Beach Club will hold the third edition of its EMBER CURATES series on August 17, 2024, featuring a Michelin-starred meal. This exclusive event brings together Chef Mano Thevar of Thevar, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant recognised for its innovative South Asian cuisine, and Chef Andrew Walsh of CURE, famed for his East-meets-West fusion dishes. They will combine their culinary talents to create a remarkable four-hands eating experience on Malaysia's southeastern coast overlooking the South China Sea.
A collaborative cuisine including South Asian flavours and unique grilling techniques will take diners on an epicurean adventure for one night only. Chef Thevar's South Asian spice-infused dishes include Hokkaido Scallop with Pearl couscous ponggal and Smoked tomato chutney, Lamb Rack with Lamb Biryani and Sorrel chutney, and Rasmalai with Cinnamon Ice-cream, Ghee Cake, Pistachio, Cranberries, and Saffron & Cardamom Cloud topped with Gold leaf. Chef Walsh will add his unique seafood and barbecue-inspired dishes to the sensory experience.

Ember Beach Club at One&Only Desaru Coast brings life to the tranquil coastline surrounded by thick rainforests with stunning sunsets and cascading surf. The first One&Only resort in South-East Asia, designed by Kerry Hill Architects, is a two-hour drive from Singapore or a 90-minute boat ride.
