Singapore Art Week 2019 is a collective and multi-disciplinary effort bringing together new and old partners – including art institutions, museums and galleries, as well as groups and collectives of established and emerging art-makers intent on engaging a wider audience through compelling, innovative and memorable art experiences.
Beyond the art fairs, gallery openings, exhibitions, public art and lifestyle events, Singapore Art Week (SAW) 2019 audiences can also enjoy art offerings that explore familiar public spaces in a new light; draw inspiration from technology, tradition and heritage; and present Singapore’s diverse and distinctive visual arts landscape in the company of world class names.

An initiative by STPI – Creative Workshop & Gallery and organised by Audrey Yeo, S.E.A. Focus is a platform to foster deeper appreciation and increase demand for Southeast Asian modern and contemporary art through dynamic collaboration with 25 international and local galleries involved.
The inaugural edition of S.E.A. Focus takes the form of a boutique art fair and will be held from Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 January 2019 in a special pop-up structure at the Gillman Barracks visual arts cluster. There's more here

ARTWALK Little India: LASALLE College of the Arts and Singapore Tourism Board (STB), with the support of the Little India Shopkeepers’ and Heritage Association (LISHA), present ARTWALK Little India,until Saturday, 2 Feb 2019 a multi-disciplinary public art project set in the cultural precinct of Little India. The inaugural edition of ARTWALK was held in 2015 and the event has been part of the Singapore Art Week line-up ever since. Light to Night Festival is an annual urban art event that celebrates the National Gallery and the Civic District of Singapore. It aims to make art accessible, bringing a range of creative and artistic expressions to a wide audience. This year's festival comprises two editions for Art Week (18 Jan - 27 Jan) and Singapore's Bicentennial (28 Jan - 24 Feb). The Art Week Edition offers a contemporary lens that explores art and ideas that are closely linked with the Civic District site, inspired by histories and stories. So much to see and experience. “Bridges of Time” - i Light Singapore for the Bicentennial. From 28 January to 24 February 2019, it features 32 artworks, comprising sustainable light art installations and a spectacular multimedia show. This sets alight Singapore's Bicentennial commemoration and features artists from 14 different countries, including Singapore. This sustainable light art festival delves into the topic of connectivity, while reflecting on Singapore’s history, growth and relationships with the world.
