When Cherie Lyden and her youngest daughter were diagnosed as coeliac in 2014, she looked around and couldn’t find really great gluten-free food.
It was all overly sweet, often packed with additives or just plain ‘yuk’, as her five year old would tell her.
So Cherie decided to make her own.
With a background as a nutritionist and foodie, Cherie was able to develop recipes that weren’t just gluten-free and delicious, but also healthy, with less sugar and zero additives, using fresh, seasonal produce.
Since then Cherie’s passion project has evolved into an award-winning bakery and cafe renown for producing food that’s first and foremost delicious, as well as being 100% gluten-free.
