Grab a bite at Huber’s Bistro, after picking up your meat order at the butchery! Unsurprisingly, this informal eatery serves up some amazingly cooked meats! Try the charcuterie board for a sure winner, and you can’t go wrong with their French Onion Soup! Huber’s also serves some German beers on draught, and as a plus, they have a playground area if you’ve come out with the younglings.

Relative to the scale of the entire complex and the butchery, the Huber’s Bistro is a modest eatery.

There are some outdoor sheltered tables which are definitely the better places if the weather is not too hot.

The air-conditioned indoor space is small and simply furnished. The decor has some resemblance to an American diner.

The food menu is a straightforward two page affair.

The braised short rib was a single big rib that had a lot of meat on it. It was more than enough for one person even without including the accompanying mashed potatoes.

There is an interesting beer selection at Huber’s Bistro. The two we selected were enjoyable. The tall one, Schneider Weisse, was the usual fruity German beer kind of taste. The other one had a slight bitter aftertaste that appeals to some of us.
