Mouthwatering mushroom minced meat mee is a must-have at this food joint. Their noodle bowls are pork parties. The bowls come loaded with slices of pork, chunks of liver and fried lard toppled on labyrinthine noodles. It’s no surprise that this place is brimming with hordes of people fighting to get a table. Come early or be prepared to wait for at least a couple of hours before the queue thins up as people try to get their hands on mee pok and the mee kia. The one dish that goes unnoticed though is the mee tai mak which is quite a perfect combination of thin, lanky noodles in a juicy pork broth.
