Acclaimed celebrity chef, Chef Justin Quek embarks on his latest culinary adventure with his own gastro café-bar JUSTIN that recently opened on the 16th of August 2023. Located in the beating heart of Singapore’s famous shopping district at TANGS Plaza, look forward to savouring Chef Justin’s signature creations, ranging from modern and classic French recipes to popular local fares garnered over his illustrious career.

With dishes beloved by people from all walks of life ranging including politicians, celebrities, and even tech gurus, Chef Justin perfected his craft over the course of 40 years and has notably served the late-Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates amongst many others.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A meal at JUSTIN is a treat unlike any other, as Chef Justin brings a curated menu featuring signature dishes to be enjoyed throughout the course of the day. Start the morning on a high note with a gastro-brunch menu (till 12.30pm daily) at JUSTIN and tuck into the heavenly Wild Mushrooms & Poached Eggs Parmentier ($28) featuring sauteed wild mushrooms, poached eggs, house-cured Iberico pork, an earthy thyme jus, and served atop a warm and comforting bed of velvety potato mousseline.

Be spoilt for choice as JUSTIN ups the ante with a variety of irresistible mains with both Asian and French influences. Patrons are bound to be entranced by dishes such as the delicious Fresh Crabmeat Capellini ($30) which harmoniously brings together silky capellini pasta sauteed with fresh crab meat and herbs and is rumoured to be one of the favourites of the late Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. Crepinettes of Pig Trotters “Perigordine” ($42) features braised pig trotters, sauteed duck foie gras, wild mushrooms, and thyme jus, beautifully plated on a potato mousseline.

Fans of Chef Justin’s Asian dishes can look forward to a comprehensive menu featuring the enchanting flavours of the Korean Ikan Bilis “Myeoichi” Fried Rice ($23) which brings aromatic wok hei notes with premium Korean anchovies, fried egg, cucumber, and JUSTIN’s house-made sambal sauce.

The Vegetable Platter ($28) brings a vegan-friendly and gluten-free option with freshly prepared Greek vegetables, couscous, asparagus, grilled mushrooms, capsicum coulis, basil oil, micro greens, and fresh herbs. The Poached Oysters (2 pcs) ($14) features fresh oysters poached with superior soy sauce, royal chives, and garlic.

Not to be missed would be the dim sum on offer at JUSTIN that features fresh dim sum made entirely in house, highlighted by Chef Justin’s signature Duck Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao ($15/3 pcs) that brings the rich buttery goodness of foie gras within a delicate steamed dumpling.

Delicious bar snacks are also on offer at JUSTIN, highlighted by the House-made Iberico Pork Char Siu Fried Mantou ($18/3 pcs) made with incredibly tender and flavourful slices of grilled char siu Iberico pork, cucumber pickles, shredded lettuce, and coriander leaves.

Freshly Baked Financier

Patrons looking to satisfy their sweet tooth will be delighted to find that JUSTIN serves up an incredible range of baked treats, all prepared and meticulously baked with love in-house.

The Freshly Baked Fine Apple Tart on Crepe Pan ($40) serves between 4 to 6 people and is bound to be a hit on both the tastebuds and on Instagram as it is served with toasted almonds and salted gula java sauce.​​​​​​​

The Freshly Baked Financier ($12 for 6 pcs) is crisp, with a delicate eggshell-like exterior that remains perfectly light and moist to highlight the subtle aroma of almonds.

Perhaps the highlight of the dessert menu, the Pineapple Carpaccio, Calamansi Sorbet ($15) is a visually delightful and refreshing treat that brings together thin slices of pineapple infused in a spice solution before being served with lime zest and calamansi sorbet.
