Sunday Folks

Head over to Sunday Folks with your folks or fly solo as you tend to your hankering for dessert. It can be any day of the week even though the name might suggest otherwise. Apart from classic ice cream flavours like Earl Grey Lavender and Sea Salt Gula Melaka, they also specialize in rather fancy ones like Kaya Toast for their adventurous customers. Just when you thought ice cream flavours couldn’t get any more interesting.

If you’re a fan of soft serve, Sunday Folks should be a favorite destination! While there isn’t a huge selection flavors available, you’ll still be spoilt for choice. Try their signature Earl Grey soft serve, along with some divine waffles. Avoid visiting during their peak hours as it does get busy on the weekends; you can make a reservation on Chope to lock down a table and shorten the wait time.

At Sunday Folks, the makers enjoy challenging themselves and doing things differently - always with a steadfast focus on quality.

We had double waffle with two scoops ice cream. The earl grey lavender was softly sweet and tea was infused well. The chocolate ice cream was rich and went well with our waffles with marshmallow. Queue time was a bit long but service was quick. I am just wondering if new flavours will be introduced (besides the V-day special)...will there be local flavours? It was our second visit. I wanted to try the salted gula melaka. They took my order. A while later, server Brain came to tell me that they had run out. I was incredibly disappointed and showed my annoyance but Brian handle me with charm and profuse apologies. So i chose another flavour. Much later, Brian cane back with a small cupful of the salted melaka. He said that they managed to extra the last bit for me. I was very impressed. He needn't have to do that.
