Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR), the specialty coffee roaster and café concept, has proudly launched its third Singapore outlet in the vibrant East Coast neighbourhood of Joo Chiat.

With outlets both in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, café enthusiasts can expect the established brand’s trusted stamp on quality specialty coffee, sumptuous all-day brunch fare with an elevated twist and a relaxed, easy breezy vibe that encourages lingering a little longer over your cup of joe.

Fans of CMCR will find all their favourite signatures alongside food, coffee and retail offerings exclusive to Common Man Coffee Roasters Joo Chiat (CMCR JC). A dedicated filter coffee brewing bar ( see below ) takes pride of place at CMCR JC, providing the ideal platform to showcase the perfect brew in the making.

CMCR JC embraces community, drawing in the wider neighbourhood to access their coffee recycling programme which fashions coffee waste into usable wares. Collaborations with CMCR JC’s neighbours to feature their offerings in monthly menu exclusives are also brewing and in the pipeline.

At CMCR JC, clean industrial finishes meet Art deco with a unique contemporary and quirky twist. Natural light floods the dining room through full floor to wall glass panelling while bold splashes of blue and brass offset the blond wood used as a nod to the viking era.

From the espresso bar, diners will find a curated beverage program showcasing the brand’s well-loved CMCR Espresso house blend. For the more adventurous, select from an ever changing duo of specialty coffees that delve deeper into CMCR’s seasonal single origin program and signature blends. From the selection of beans to the methods of brewing and types of apparatus used, CMCR JC’s friendly baristas are on hand to help, making the knowledge surrounding specialty coffee a little more accessible for everyone.
