Eric Kayser’s bakeries propose a wide selection of bread, pastries, viennoiseries, baked goods, and snacks from the French classics to more exotic creations. Attached to traditions but in tune with the time, Eric Kayser has renewed the very concept of the bakery by creating original venues and new gastronomic codes: Corner shops, retail bakeries, bakery-café for a quick bite and Restaurant du Boulanger where Bread sets the menu. The bakers at Maison Kayser are nothing less than wizards because the variety of pastries and bread they make taste magical. The gorgeous sourdough, monde, and French country bread made by this bakery are some of the tastiest in Singapore. We love their Raspberry Danish, Chouquettes, and of course, their buttery, crispy, flaky croissant. If you feel a little peckish, they all also make sandwiches and quiches, which are quite filling.

Okay, this is the big gun on this list. The resume of this bakery is impressive to say the least. Having been on the Singapore map for around two and a half decades, Maison Kayser was founded by Eric Kayser, who is an author of multiple baking books, teaches at the French National Institute of Bakery and Patisserie, and inventor of the Fermentolevain, for maintaining bread starters at an optimum temperature. The croissants that come out of Maison Kayser’s oven check all boxes. They’re gorgeously golden, wonderfully flaky, super light, and come loaded with butter. With locations in 23 different countries, this one has surely taken the baking world by storm.
