Singapore Botanic Gardens
If there’s one spot you can never go wrong with, it’s the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Having been around the city of Singapore for a staggering 150 years, it covers a humongous 82 hectares of space which includes land, roads and beautiful flora, ever so pleasing to the eyes. The one part that stands out is definitely the Palm Valley which is packed with dense trees and vegetation with little spaces to make the experience ever so cosy. West Coast Park
A slightly lesser known venue, but equally beautiful if you ask me, is the West Coast Park. What better way to spend your day off than at an amphitheatre surrounded by a mass of green where you may risk running into spare kites, owing to the families enjoying the activity. Pack some sandwiches (they always go perfectly well with a flask of lemonade if you’re out on a picnic). Sengkang Riverside Park

Who said manicures could only be for your hands? The lawns at Hort Park come well groomed, ready to be sat on, rolled in or walked on. So what’s it gonna be? Hindhede Nature Park
You know it’s going to be a good experience when there is “nature” in the name itself. Pay a visit to Hindhede Nature Park, get exploring and find yourself looking at a huge playground accompanied by an open lawn which is just the thing you need for a memorable picnic. Oh and while you’re there, don’t forget to check out the Waringin Hut.
