I recently spent the weekend in Perth, Western Australia taking a short break from Singapore and what made the weekend easy and comfortable was my stay at The Sage Hotel.

Perth and Western Australia are a great destination to visit. Sage Hotel West Perth is the perfect vantage point to venture out from to explore. A quaint 4-star hotel Sage Hotel West Perth boasts modern interiors alongside its heritage façade, which is definitely one of the first things you notice against the green leafy landscape.

Built in 1902, this is one of the few heritage-listed buildings in Perth so making this my new home for the weekend was really something special.

Nestled in the heart of West Perth, we were really spoilt for choice for shopping and dining options as popular areas such as Subiaco, trendy Leederville and the city centre itself were all a 15-minute walk away.

If you’re lucky enough to get a room that faces west, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Perth Hills by day and even more romantic views of the city skyline by night.

You really get a sense of how beautiful and vast this enormous state is. If Western Australia were to be a country in its own right, it would be in the world’s top 10 in terms of size!

Maintaining the original balustrade, Jarrah floorboards and heritage fireplace (we loved this!), the interior has been refurbished to accommodate its own resident restaurant, Julio’s – a coveted Italian restaurant.

Serving delicious pasta, sharing boards and a collection of Italian (and Australian) wine, you’ll be hard pressed to not leave the restaurant completely full and satisfied.

You’d feel the same if you enjoyed a healthy portion of hand-made black onyx beef cheek ravioli pasta with black truffle butter, roasted hazelnuts and salted ricotta.

If you are looking to keep fit during your stay, the hotel boasts a 24-hour gym and provides guests with complimentary bicycles – which is the perfect way to explore Kings Park situated right next door, a 400-hectare park that offers panoramic views of the Swan River and Darling Range.

Whether travelling solo, for business or a romantic weekend getaway, Sage has got you covered – a beautiful heritage building, modern rooms, high speed Wi-Fi and a resident Italian restaurant – an easy and comfortable home away from home that sits just on the fringe of the CBD.

Stayed here for a lil getaway with my partner and we loved this place! Extremely fair prices and the comfort of the rooms were top notch! If you're planning a trip to Perth I would highly recommend Sage, it's a lovely hotel in a quieter area and not far from the city with transport super close.

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Brittany Martina-Chantelle Coombe recommends Sage Hotel West Perth.

This hotel is sensational. Gorgeous rooms, contemporary, tasteful and clean. The breakfast was delicious, best hot buffet ever, and it is well-priced given it's location in the CBD. Will definitely be back again. Monique Fruewirth recommends Sage Hotel West Perth.
