San Jose is located near Boracay, Carabao Island which is probably the next big island destination. San Jose has white sand and beautiful waters, but without the massive crowds and high price tags. It is often considered a day trip, and is more than worthy of a few days of exploration.
December is the peak season here, so if you do not like crowds, you can consider the months of November or May for great deals on accommodation and lesser crowds. San Jose is less developed, which means there are many areas that are off the beaten path, including underground caves.
6. An Hai Beach - Con Dao, Vietnam

The Con Dao Islands were once the reserve of political prisoners, and have seen an increase in popularity thanks to their mystery and intrigue. An Hai beach is located along Ton Duc Thang Street, right in the center of Con Dao district. From the district center, it takes 10 minutes walk to reach the beach.
It has a long stretch of white sand surrounded by clear and blue as crystal water and the beach is sheltered by mountains, which makes An Hai Beach a great place to explore. It is an ideal place for travelers to rest and explore the natural landscapes of Con Dao.
From May to October, turtles nest on beaches so try not to miss their hatching. The waters around Con Dao have the best visibility from February to July. Con Dao offers the best diving and snorkeling in Vietnam and probably in Southeast Asia.

This place is home to one of Asia’s most important Sea Turtle preservation centers, which is Juara Turtle Project. Juara and Tioman Islands, have never been crowded with tourists compared to their more famous neighbors, which is the reason for the thriving of its coral and marine life. With only a few tourists, the area offers an unparalleled sense of serenity.
The perfect time to visit Tioman is June and July. The warm water of the island gets the marine life active for divers. Tioman Island Golf Course is also a must visit here. Free diving is popular with the naturalists there, and is more challenging than scuba diving.
