Puri Dajuma is the perfect example of a family run business that benefits the whole village economically and socially. With its harmonious marriage of Balinese and French culture, it is impossible to say who is being westernized and who is being easternized.

Here, the two cultures often mix and merge during special events, in temples, during ceremonies of offerings, or during the many shared invitations, for example, when Dajuma offered to dig a well in the village when it first opened.

Welcome to Puri Dajuma Cottages, the place on the Island of Gods where your dreams become reality. They have designed, built and furnished your cottage and your suite to ensure that you feel at home while spending your holiday in a typical Balinese setting: traditional, family-type bungalows open onto tropical private gardens with a direct view of the ocean.

On the way to the beach across the equatorial garden, you may be enticed by the main pool and its wading pond, the spa with its relaxing water massages, the restaurant and its delicious regional and international cuisine and the grill with its teppanyaki and Mongolian barbecue.

These should be the keys not only to an invigorating holiday, but also ensuring that you will feel in your element, thanks to Bali's exceptional cultural background - people, religion and nature all blend into such exceptional harmony so as to make your stay on the Island of Gods one of the world's most exhilarating cultural experiences.

Holidays give us the opportunity to do a lot of things that we are not able to during the rest of the year. One of these is crucial for our health. Dajuma offers a lot of opportunities to re-energize through a variety of sporting activities due to its unique location between the sea and land.

The two sea-facing infinity pools - one with a suspended whirlpool tub, 50 meter swimming lane, waterfall and slide, are the crowning features of Dajuma and offer mesmerising sunset views. Located on separate tiers the two pools offer guests the chance to choose to socialize with others or enjoy the peace and quiet. Another option is to go swimming in the sea. With sea water that is 28° C all year long and soft sand you can swim safely in the ocean, on the western side of our cape, just a few steps from your room.

Dajuma is a stone’s throw away from Medewi, the world famous surfing site. Jupri, Puri Dajuma's beach supervisor and the son of a local fisherman, was born with a surf board in his cradle. He will be delighted to introduce you and your children to this often demanding sport. If you don’t feel comfortable with surfing, then you can enjoy the waves by body boarding instead. These activities are available free of charge throughout your stay.

The Island of the Deer (Pulau Menjangan in Bahasa Indonesia) is renowned worldwide for the dazzling beauty of its seabed and the diverse wealth of underwater flora and fauna. No matter whether you are a beginner or more experienced, you are certain to have an extraordinary experience. It is an hour and a half’s drive away and the route through the terraced rice fields is delightful.

Certified instructors will take you on two scuba diving excursions, one on the south side of the island in the morning, and the other on the north side after lunch on a boat. On your way back from the diving experience, you will have the fantastic opportunity to visit an aviary, which is surrounded by nature, to see the rare and magnificent symbol of Bali, the starling bird.

Puri Dajuma cordially invite you to visit their web site for information about any recreational activity directly accessible from your own cottage, sport, adventure treks, nature discovery, cultural immersion, relaxation and dining should all convince you that Puri Dajuma cottages is the place where your dreams do come true. Another unmissable Dajuma experience is fishing early in the morning on a traditional praho with a local fisherman guide. If you are lucky enough, you will go back with something in your basket that our cooks will grill for you. For those that enjoy the silent tranquillity of sailing, there is a catamaran at your disposal.

Dajuma is located on the edge of the Bali West National Park with its multitude of trekking opportunities. Our Jeep will take you to your starting point for your trek a few kilometres from Dajuma. From then on, it will be up to you to reach the goal you have set for yourself.
Visiting the extraordinary rice field irrigation systems, swimming under the rumbling waterfalls, discovering lost villages, and crossing the Palukan State Plantation are some of the most popular trekking choices.

With its 20 kilometres of virgin pristine beach, Dajuma is also a paradise for joggers. Here local fisherman gather to from time to time and will always be happy to show you their catch of the day. The endless beach, the sound of the waves, the salt water spray, and the nearby jungle will make you feel like you have gone back to the start of the world. If you feel tired you can always find a side road where a warund will offer you a secret Balinese energy drink.

Cycling around Dajuma and the surrounding areas is pure bliss. It is a delight to leisurely pedal along the gently rolling roads that pass immense plantations of coconut palms, banana trees, rubber trees, and small hamlets where the villagers are always happy to chat with you. If the tide allows, returning to Dajuma by the beach is also an unmissable experience especially with the setting sun as a backdrop. It really is an excellent and pleasant way to get rid of toxins and keep your figure.
