Founded by three food and beer-loving friends, EATcetera was borne out of friendship and a genuine desire to create a space where people can be comfortable dining, drinking and enjoying good company and conversation.
A play on the words et cetera, the ethos of EATcetera is to always give diners something more; something fresh to look forward to, a new flavour or taste to discover.
EATcetera is a Pan-European dining concept in the heart of Singapore’s Alexandra and Redhill district, easily accessed directly from alighting the MRT at Redhill and offers honest, satisfying food for all ages, this all-day dining concept is a welcoming pit-stop, nestled in base of the ARTRA’s mixed residential and commercial development.
Helmed by Chef Patron Christian Bruhns, a German-native with over 35 years in the kitchens of Europe and Asia’s top hotels and restaurants, expat choice diners will be treated to consistently good, wholesome food created with just the right touch of culinary artistry and swift precision.
Joining Chef Patron Christian Bruhns in the kitchen is Singaporean Chef de Cuisine Steven Puah, whose passions led him to hone in his skills and palate in German cuisine.
Although Blinis (pictured above) are made with humble ingredients, they become a foundation of something incredibly delicious! These Russian Pancakes are perfectly fluffy with crispy edges and though served traditionally with sour cream and blackcurrant jam, we added a touch of decadence with a serving of salmon caviar for that perfect end-of-week treat.
Walk into EATcetera and you’ll be greeted with friendly service of the team and bartenders who are always ready to put an icy cold beer in your hand.
Let your tastebuds travel the world as you savour our menu, influenced by the flavours of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia and Belarus. Foodies bring your dining passport, and come expectant to make a discovery of traditional eats from all over Europe, including signature dishes like the famous Hungarian goulash, tasty German wurst sausages, tongue-twisting Austrian Kaiserschmarren, and Belarusian draniki.
Children will also enjoy a selection of kid-friendly food – with EATcetera, kids can opt for their all-time familiar favourites, or venture new food adventures having tried different foods from all over Europe.
Not to be missed is the house-speciality – legendary European style Meat-Skewers grilled to smoky perfection over a charcoal Josper oven, and flavoured with a blend of secret marinades and sauces.
A visual treat, EATcetera’s meat skewers are served hanging on a cast iron stand, together with potatoes, roasted vegetables and special dip sauces.
Choose from a tantalising array of tender meats – Prime beef rib eye, Lamb rump, Pork Collar and Chicken, to fresh Prawns char-grilled in their shells for maximum flavour. Simply mouth-watering.
At EATcetera, a beer in hand or on the table is always going to be the perfect accompaniment to our food. The bar stocks the very best beers Germany and Belarus has to offer. From familiar favourites like Paulaner lagers to undiscovered Belarus beers, EATcetera provides every opportunity to take you on a journey.
Wine lovers will be delighted to discover the range of Austrian Organic and BioDynamic Wines from the hillside vineyards of Vienna, together with labels from wine regions all over the world. If classic cocktails are your thing, perch at the bar and the barman will be happy to shake you up your drinks of choice.
