Instructions for playing baseball

  • To start, you need to know that this sport is played by times, known as tickets in a unique field. These entries will be divided into ups and downs.
  • During the game, one team will try to add points while the other defends the field. A complete team will defend on the field while the other team, in turn, one by one tries to hit the ball.
  • The game starts with an entire team defending. A batter of the offensive team is thrown and he tries to hit it and then run the field and return to his starting position. While the defensive team tries to hit the runner with the ball to let it out.
  • When 3 "outs" are marked, the equipment is exchanged. It begins with a single member of the offensive team batting and as the game progresses we can find three or four teammates waiting to finish their career. The field is formed by the “infield” and the “outfield”.
  • The infield is the inner zone where the races take place and the players are placed at the beginning. This will have a diamond shape in whose corners the four bases marked by a white pad will be placed.

  • The distance between one base to another is the same. And the inside of the frame is composed of grass, while the path followed by the corridors from one base to another is dirt.
  • The bases correspond to the corners of the field through which the runners must pass, always in order to be able to score points.
  • In these equines, there will also be safe areas for runners who have stayed midway through the race to wait to continue the race at the next pitch if the player so wishes.
  • In the center of the infield, there is a mound of land where the pitcher will be placed.

  • One of the bases is called "home" and its pad consists of five sides, instead the rest consists of four.
  • The batter is placed at home. It also has three squares two on the sides marking the limits of the batter and one behind where the receiver is located (the player who will catch the ball in case the battery fails).
  • If the batter hits the ball and falls to the left of the third base or to the right of the first then the hit is invalid "foul". The foul lines are usually marked in the field. The outfield is all grass space that is beyond the strips of land and where the foul lines continue.
  • There are no established measures that mark the outfield but it is a very wide space. "The Fence" is what the farthest edge is called. In the outfield, there will be several defensive team players who will try to catch the batted ball and return it. The game.
  • While the team is attacking all players will take turns batting. Instead while defending each one will occupy a place in the field. A pitcher will be placed on the pitcher's mound must throw the ball to the batter, so he must throw it directly to the home and at a certain height to be considered valid.

  • The first base receiver is placed at first base if he catches the ball before the batter passes through his base then the batter's will be out. The second base receiver is placed at the second base defending the area between the first and second bases.
  • And try to put the runner out. The third base receiver is placed on the third base with the same function, but it must have such a throwing force that the ball can be thrown to the first base receiver if necessary through the entire diamond.
  • The shortstop takes care of the space between the second and third base by throwing the ball to any catcher to get out.
  • The gardeners (three players) will be placed in the outfield to catch the high and long balls and continue the same dynamic of passing it to the receiver to get out.
  • If the player out then stops rotating in the bats and the play does not continue. When three players are out, they will proceed to exchange teams.
