This April the Pine Garden introduced new exciting creations for Mother’s Day celebration including Melondious Parfait Cake, TW Peanut Brittle, Orh-Ni, Mochi, & Popiah Cake, and Jujube Chiffon Cake with Honey Yuzu. 

Melondious Parfait Cake is one delightful fruity cake features green melon. Light vanilla sponge layered with mellow aroma sweet cream, tropical jelly and hearty granola atop. It’s a melody of summer flavours for Mother’s Day celebration.

TW Peanut Brittle, Orh-Ni, Mochi & Popiah Cake. This is for sure a cake for adventurous foodies as the ingredients will blow your mind. Inspired by the famed Peanut Ice Cream Popiah, you’ll find many interesting elements like crunchy peanut brittle shavings, velvet textured Orh-Ni (yam paste) and QQ Mochi (glutinous rice cake) in the center, topped with toasted popiah skin and fresh coriander. No you didn’t hear me wrong! It’s the coriander we usually find as garnish in Chinese soups, noodles and many savoury dishes. Now it’s making its fame into desserts. I found the flavours actually blend in very well. For someone with Taiwanese background like me, I love how these elements are put together in one plate! Moreover, the cake looks amazing, although it’s messy to cut but the taste is sure to impress.

Jujube Chiffon Cake with Honey Yuja is another heartwarming delight not to be missed. The extract of Jujube Red Dates offers the natural sweetness and a touch of Korean Yuja gives a perfect balance with slightly tangy and bittersweet taste. The natural sweetness from red dates and excellent source of Vitamin C from Yuja definitely add on the healthy bonus.

Both Melondious parfait Cake and TW Peanut Brittle, Orh-Ni, Mochi & Popiah Cake come in 2 sizes, 0.5KG at $46.50 and 1KG at $65.50. Jujube Chiffon Cake with Honey Yuja only comes in 7” diameter with hollow center and priced at $48.50 each.
