Sofitel has been bringing French art de vivre to global guests for six decades, and it will celebrate 60 years of luxury hospitality in 2024. This milestone encourages both guests and Heartists to join in unique celebrations, ranging from sophisticated dining experiences to vibrant community outreach initiatives. Curated events will take place throughout November at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, the centre of these celebrations in Singapore, transporting guests to a world of French finesse and island charm.
Sofitel's year-long anniversary celebrations highlight the famous brand's commitment to authenticity, creativity, and service, with over 120 unique experiences offered across its hotels throughout the world. On November 16, the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa will hold a special 60 Years of Sofitel Gala Dinner in the Saffron Ballroom, featuring a six-hand, six-course menu prepared by famous chefs Paolo Benedet, Bjoern Alexander, and Geoffrey Daurelle.
The culinary wonders will be accompanied by a refined variety of champagnes and wines, providing an enhanced dining experience. Following that, on November 17, Club Matera at The Cliff will host a big Italian breakfast. The feast will include artisanal cheeses, oysters, Angus steak, Sanchoku Wagyu, roasted sustainable barramundi, and exquisite Tiramisu.
In keeping with Sofitel's Committed Luxury mission, the resort's celebrations go beyond its guests to honour the dedication of its Heartists, Sofitel employees who represent the brand's spirit. On November 11, Heartists will be honoured with an appreciation night featuring a barbecue and awards recognising those who have gone above and beyond in representing Sofitel's ideals, such as the Above & Beyond, Team Player, and Ray of Sunshine awards.
A photography workshop centred on capturing Sentosa's beautiful flora and fauna will also allow participants to contribute to a meaningful collage art project representing Sofitel's Cultural Link.
Sofitel is also strengthening its ties with the local community in commemoration of its 60th anniversary. As part of its commitment to inclusive art and culture, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa will hold an outreach event on November 5 at the Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home. Residents will participate in an engaging art and craft workshop that promotes creative expression and connection, highlighting Sofitel's commitment to fostering joy and respect for art throughout generations.
The celebrations will also include Sofitel's year-long revealing of surprises, such as a new brand film (Sofitel - "The Encounter" - Where Free Minds Meet) and an exclusive cooperation that embody the essence of French flair and exquisite service that have made Sofitel a pioneer in French luxury hospitality. Sofitel has shared the sense of French elegance with the globe since its inception in Strasbourg, France, and is now present on all continents.
Since its inception in 2015, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa has provided visitors with a serene and elegant vacation along with breathtaking sea views, lush tropical surroundings, and world-class food that epitomises French art de vivre.
With a 60-year history of innovation and a culture of sincere service, Sofitel's diamond jubilee is a celebration of the brand's journey and lasting impact. This anniversary welcomes guests, workers, and communities to celebrate Sofitel's timeless sophistication and global hospitality.
