It sure has been a tumultuous and unsettling couple of months now for those in isolation or practicing social distancing. across the region. For one, your reporter went into self isolation on 18 March 2020 - 7 weeks ago at the time this post was published. Life as we know it has been hijacked, and it looks like the consequences of coronavirus will reverberate around the globe for a long time.
Expat Choice is a publication founded on getting people out into their cities, and right now that’s something a lot of people don’t feel like doing. But we’re also about enriching people’s lives, and the way we see it, that doesn’t change if you’re cooped up in your apartment.
As we all come to terms with our new world, I’m once again reminded how our cities across the region are packed with generous and resourceful folks who are finding clever ways for us to continue to enjoy our beautiful cities.
