This is my go to place to de-stress relax and escape the world for a while. It's so easy to get there, just a quick 45 minute ferry ride from Harbourfront and you and transported to a magical little paradise.
I've been multiple times and was most recently there with a colleague to celebrate the end our school term ( teachers really need to de-stress). We chose the Lotus package which includes four hour long treatments of our choosing and a set lunch of favorite Indonesian treats all for the very reasonable price of 200sd. This is a special package available Monday- Friday.
My two favorite treatments at Tempat Senang are the Hot Compress Massage and the Hair and Scalp Treatment. The hot compress massage is apparently over four hundred years old and uses a steamed rounded cloth bundled with herbs and spices to administer the massage. You float away the warmth seeps deep into the muscles to soothe away your aches and pains. The hair and scalp treatment involves lush hair creme being rubbed into your hair and head for an hour, leaving your hair soft and shiny . Pure bliss!!!
The food is excellent, I am especially partial to the Beef Rendang and the Bread Pudding. When you are all finished you can peruse the gift shop and pick up your own batik robe, natural skin care products that are made at the spa or other sustainable items before being taken to the ferry terminal for your quick trip back to Singapore.
So if you are looking for an easy , affordable yet lush spa getaway , I highly recommend Tempat Senang. I'll be back there next month for a Hen Party and I can't wait!!!

I love it for the convenience of 45 minutes on a ferry from Harbourfront and no need for airports or dreadful road trips across the Causeway.
I felt relaxed as soon as I felt the wind on my face dreamily gazing across at the ships anchored in Singapore Port. What a quick way to step out of the hustle and bustle of city life!
On arrival we went straight into selecting our treatments - a plethora of choices from massages to scrubs, pedicures and manicures. Lunch was delicious - again in a matter of an hour I was devouring Indonesian rendang, satay and gado gado. Yum!
Our treatments were fantastic. Very professional service staff and extremely well trained. A trip to the shop where Indonesian gifts were aplenty and we were ferried back by car to the terminal.
If you'd like a quick getaway for the day Tempat Senang is certainly a fabulous option. Not only for women, we found the men in our group enjoyed it just as much.
For about s$230 we got lunch, 3 treatments and a return ferry trip. How low can you go? Totally worth it and we are journeying back there again after 3 weeks. Totally sold!!!

I liked the full day spa, but it's getting costly. For convenience, I would still have my spa in Singapore.
