In Occupational Therapy, an occupational therapist’s role is to assist a person to reach their maximum potential in activities of daily life.
They are based on providing medical and allied health services from assessment, diagnosis to intervention for children with learning, sensory & developmental needs.
The occupational therapist will assess the underlying skills that impede a child’s performance such as their motor ability, sensory processing, their ability to attend and focus and their ability to plan, sequence and organize a task from beginning to end.
