Founded based on Catholic values by the Sisters from the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM) in 1961, Mount Alvernia Hospital (MAH) is Singapore’s first private and only not-for-profit 304-bed Catholic acute tertiary care hospital.

Celebrating a milestone 60th anniversary of providing compassionate and holistic healthcare in  ‘serving all with love’ — Mount Alvernia Hospital is Singapore’s first not-for-profit, private Catholic missionary hospital. This private hospital on Thomson Road, will follow you throughout your entire pregnancy journey.

From pre-pregnancy to post-birth, the maternity hospital has a team of experienced ParentCraft staff at the centre, to guide mothers on newborn care and breastfeeding. An exempt charity, the hospital’s annual surplus goes into developing and upgrading the hospital, supporting the Assisi Hospice and community outreach activities. Image Credit: Mtalvernia.sg
