Dr Shankar trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Middlesex Hospital in London and subsequently worked at the Brompton Hospital in London, Harefield Hospital in Uxbridge and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
He specializes in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery for children of all ages and works out of both Glenagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Medical.
Dr. Shankar’s interests are in adult cardiothoracic surgery, adult vascular surgery, paediatric cardiothoracic surgery and paediatric vascular surgery.
