"Prior to meeting Dr Jerry Tan, I had my eyes done at a private clinic in Singapore. Turns out that the surgery was botched and there are many problems with my eyes, making my case a very complex case to treat. I have seen many other doctors and they would either not tell me about my problem or just straight out not want to treat me. Believe it or not, I have seen 10 doctors so far.
Dr Jerry Tan is the only one so far that has the heart and knowledge to treat me. He has been nothing but very kind to me. Replies all my emails and explains everything I could not understand to me properly. His sense of humour is also impeccable.
He can be a little expensive, but he uses the best and only the best machines and attitude. Lasik will affect your whole life and those nightmare surgeries you hear (or do not) about are true and I am a real life example. I do not regret anything in my life but just not having my surgery done by Dr Jerry Tan.
Before I end off this review, I would also like people who are considering lasik surgery and if you are below 30 to request your ophthalmologist to do a cycloplegic refraction with CYCLOPENTOLATE. I cannot reiterate this enough. It has to be cyclopentolate and NOT tropicamide. This is necessary and EXTREMELY important to avoid gross overcorrection.
