UFIT, the official HYROX training club in Singapore, is set to bring back its highly anticipated Stronger Than Cancer HYROX Prep Event on 2 November 2025. Designed to replicate the thrill and challenge of the official HYROX race, this event offers fitness enthusiasts a complete race simulation that includes eight workout stations and eight kilometres of running. The prep event is ideal for participants gearing up for the official HYROX Singapore race, as well as those eager to experience the format but who may have missed out on a race ticket.
Taking place at Dover Court International School, the event will follow the authentic HYROX structure. Competitors will complete a one-kilometre run followed by a functional workout, repeated across eight rounds. The stations include Ski-erg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Row-erg, Farmers Carry, Weighted Lunges and Wall Balls, each testing different aspects of strength, stamina and endurance. With each workout performed in race order and using official weights, participants can expect a realistic and challenging HYROX experience that mirrors race-day intensity.
Participants can choose to compete as a pair or in a relay team of four, with both mixed and same-sex teams welcome. To ensure smooth participation, waves will start every ten minutes from 7:00 am to 10:20 am, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. This flexibility allows teams to select their preferred start time while maintaining the spirit of competition throughout the morning.
Every participant will receive a UFIT t-shirt as part of their race entry, and refreshments will be provided throughout the event to help athletes stay energised. In support of a meaningful cause, the event will raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation, with $20 from each ticket donated to the charity. The dress code for the day is pink, symbolising solidarity and strength in the fight against breast cancer.
Tickets are priced at $120 for doubles and $220 for relay teams, offering excellent value for an event that combines community, competition and cause-driven fitness. Beyond the physical challenge, the Stronger Than Cancer HYROX Prep Event is about pushing limits, fostering teamwork and standing united for a greater purpose.
