What are your plans to get fit? There are many outdoor recreational activities or sports you may choose to try out, like going for a little jog outside, hitting up those nature walks for a hike, or trying out new outdoor group classes.

One alternative you may choose to consider would be picking up a new sport altogether, why not try boxing?

WE INTRODUCE TO YOU…

Foxgloves Fight Gym, located at Bugis, is a newly opened combat sports facility offering boxing, Muay Thai and MMA classes from Monday to Saturday. If you’re an avid boxing fan, you’ve probably tried many gyms around Singapore and found that they’re mostly boxing-inspired Mario HIIT classes. Here we focus more on building up your technical skills and train you for high level competition.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL CLASS LIKE?

Our classes mostly consist of partner pad work drills, some heavy bag workouts, and sparring in our 4 x 4 M ring. If you’re looking for a gym to not only get a serious workout in but also meet others who’re just as passionate about the sport as we are, look no further.

We’re open for all levels, so don’t feel like you need any background in boxing to come through. Although we have beginner boxing classes at 5pm on weekdays, we coach based on the level of members attending the class.

WHAT GEAR WILL I NEED?

We sell custom gear at the gym, including neon coloured wraps (so you’ll never lose them again), boxing gloves (10oz - 16oz), T shirts and Muay Thai shorts. If you’re just starting out, you’ll definitely need to get a pair of hand wraps and gloves. You can either bring your own or purchase a set at our gym! Our equipment is from Raja boxing, a renowned boxing equipment from Thailand. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! We have mats so you don’t even need shoes. If you’re planning on sparring, please bring your own mouthguard to protect them teeth!

WHEN ARE CLASSES?

We’re open Monday to Saturday, with classes from 12pm - 9.30pm on weekdays and 10am - 1pm on Saturday. An option for those seeking a one-on-one experience with an experienced coach would be to go for personal training, which can arranged during non-class hours.

Our schedule

DO YOU HAVE STUDENT PRICING?

Of course. We understand that as a student you probably won’t have a steady income, which is why our rates are more palatable. Student pricing isn’t limited by age, as long as you have a valid student card we’ll be happy to offer you student pricing.

I’M JUST STARTING OUT, SHOULD I DO BOXING, MUAY THAI OR MMA?

Everyone’s interests are different, and you won’t know what you’ll like until you go for it. Luckily our passes aren’t restrictive on the type of classes you can attend. For instance, purchasing a month’s membership enables you access to any and all of our classes. If you’re unsure about going for a group class right away, you can also opt for Personal Training sessions with our coach. This will enable you to work on specific goals or combinations with an experienced individual. This has been helpful for our members looking to work on improving their sparring performance.

ARE YOU GUYS OPEN IN PHASE 2?

Yes, we are! We’ve added some measures in response to the government restrictions. They mainly include masks mandatory during exercise, keeping to groups of two, and limiting class sized to 8 pax. You can read more about that here.
