Due to the recent suspension of high-intensity, unmasked activities, fitness junkies may be dearly missing the energy and atmosphere of in-person group work-outs. Following instructors through screens at home may be less than ideal too, especially for those who thrive on or feed off the energy of others in group settings.
Thankfully, True Group has launched a lower-intensity version of their popular indoor classes so that masks can be worn during the session, with studios carefully demarcated to ensure members’ safety, and adherence to social distancing guidelines. Members will be required to bring their own equipment for selected classes, and masks are mandatory throughout the sessions.
- From 29 July 2021, True Group offers indoor classes such as the popular BodyJam and BodyCombat, and a variety of Yoga classes, modified to ensure they are safe with masks on
- At just $15 per class, members get to continue work-out routines across seven locations
At just $15 per session, members may choose from BodyJam, BodyCombat, BodyAttack, Zumba, Sh'bam, and a variety of Yoga classes. The intensity of all classes has been adjusted taking into consideration the mask-on situation.
For gym floor goers, True Group is also offering a 45-minute Bodyweight MobilityX class for free. This class is equipment-free and focuses on bodyweight movement and stretching.
More details on the available classes can be found in the GFX mobile app. Each class is only $15 with limited slots available, held in accordance with the government’s safe distancing advisories. Bookings are available via True Group’s GFX App (Apple App Store and Google Play Store).
True Group’s extremely popular outdoor classes will still be available for those who prefer to continue with higher-intensity work-outs.
Mask-on low-intensity indoor classes are conducted at True Fitness Harbourfront, TFX Millenia Walk, True Fitness ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee, True Fitness Tampines Junction, True Fitness Great World City, True Fitness Ang Mo Kio, and TFX Pacific Plaza.
