Let’s face it: all of us have this secret desire to age gracefully, but what constitutes graceful ageing? To some, ageing gracefully could mean maintaining one’s looks and figure. To others, it could mean staying active and healthy. To us, at 2Be Yoga, it means BOTH.

Most people find age a hindrance, be it at work or play. However, all differences in statuses and age are thrown aside while in the hot room, and what’s left is just your own reflection in the mirror. This is Bikram yoga. This is Inferno Hot Pilates.

Regular yoga and pilates is great, but HOTyoga and HOT pilates is extraordinary. Not only do the two promote flexibility and muscle tone, but also results in excessive sweating, making it a useful means of detoxification. Our body love and needs to sweat daily because it is our natural way to cleanse

Both Bikram Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates are effective ways to improve health and well-being. There are many common health concerns related to this age group of people such as: joint inflexibility, poor blood circulation, arthritis, vision problems, high blood pressure, lower back pain, osteoporosis, breathing difficulties, stress-related problems, sleep problems, chronic pains, and diabetes.

These classes are powerful tools that help prevent the physical effects and health concerns of ageing. It consists of stretching and compressing the muscles and internal organs that improve health problems. Practising in the heat slows down the ageing process and makes you feel younger than ever before. An example would be a gas station because it refuels your energy rather than burning it. In general, regardless of age, when you are healthy, your body functions properly, your spirits are lifted and your overall well-being improves.

Ageing gracefully has just been redefined.

Some key tips before practising yoga or pilates in the heat:

  1. Come with an open mind
  2. Hydration is key, make sure that you always hydrate before or after class, never during your classes because your body won't be able to absorb the water during a short period of time.
  3. Yes, it will feel heated; but, remember that healing is a process that takes place from the inside out.
  4. You'll increase your strength and flexibility, resulting in a flawless body.
  5. You'll deal with emotions, thoughts, and various feelings, as well as gain a greater understanding of your own body.
  6. Never underestimate the power of simplicity; simple movements will feel difficult to your body at first, and you'll need time to adjust during the possess.
  7. Make sure you're dressed appropriately for each session; some fabrics raise your body temperature by 2 to 3 degrees, which is significant in a hot class.
  8. Any injuries, pregnancies, or other conditions should always be addressed to your teachers so that we can provide you with good alternatives that helps improve your condition
  9. Always be realistic; to develop a good habit in your body, you'll need to train for around 21 days in a row, and you'll have to build neuroplasticity.

In fact, the greatest thing you could do for yourself is to provide your physical and mental systems the opportunities to try any one of these unique experiences.
