The food from Yantra hits all the right spots be it their Signature Bukhni Kebab (S$24), Ambi Jhinga, prawns marinated with green mango (S$24), or their robust Dal Makhani (S$28). They have a tempting variety of biryani including a vegetarian biryani and a mind-blowing Lahori Chicken Pulao (S$38) but do try their vegetarian mains as they will knock your socks off with their flavours. We usually go for their Paneer Butter Masala (S$32) or Asparagus, Methi, Coconut braised Chestnuts (S$32) with kulcha or paratha.
We always, always end up ordering far too much when we pick Yantra for our Indian fix.
The reason is their kickass street food, sweets and quintessential North Indian fare like parathas with the works, Amritsari Chole and kebabs.
We love pairing our dishes with their dahi bhalle and ending it with their heavenly homemade rosogolla.
